CAN-BIND was established in 2011 as one of five Integrated Discovery Programs (IDPs) sponsored primarily by the Ontario Brain Institute (OBI). OBI is a not-for-profit research centre maximizing the impact of neuroscience and establishing Ontario as a world leader in brain research, commercialization and care. CAN-BIND is also supported by additional public and private partners.
